  • Jill will print out the letters for the businesses
  • Craig will send out mailing to the list Jill provides

Committees

  • No updates

Marketing

  • Stephanie will update website this weekend
  • Jill will update the add on the monitors with the correct website
  • Jill will also see if we can redirect the rowan surge website
  • We will all send out the website on all emails to the group
  • Stephanie will email the editor to see of we could get the paper to do an article about us
  • Jill will email Castle & Cook to see if we could market to them
  • Stephanie will print out business cards and distribute to local restaurants

Social

  • May 2 – attend Emily Brinskelle and Meredith Abramson’s art show
  • Beer tasting – set a date?
  • Girls night out idea?  Maybe bunko?
  • Reschedule Golf outing
  • Granite Fest – day event with family.  Stephanie is getting the date.

Service

  • Jill will follow up with Deb on planning a few events
  • Pass the Plate – auction off a dinner party to benefit Rowan Helping Misintires
    • This would be for next year
    • Jill will email about information
  • Craig will look into Rowan helping ministries night

Paws in the Park

  • $2200 in pledges so far, $1200 in hand
  • Letters will go out this week
  • Starbucks is interested, planning a specialty drink
  • Craig will help with marking the route
  • Schedule for the dat
    • Olympics-8:30 – 9:50
    • Walk starts at 10
    • Metals at 11:30
  • Lazy 5 is sponsoring the Olympics
  • Money from the Olympics going to Webster Spay & Neuter Adoption Center
  • 3 Pre Events
    • Lazy 5 Open house – June 14
    • July 26 – 5k on Greenway: do promotion there
    • Doggie Protraits @ YMCA
      • Working on a date
      • Volunteers needed
      • Steve Norman will be the photographer
      • Trying to find a date and working out the logistics
  • Stephanie is working on the press releases

Quarterly Meeting Ideas
